Katina Bitsicas presents a selection of her experimental documentary short films interwoven with short videos that document projection mapped installations and performances to give a broader view of her creative practice.

Katina is an Associate Professor in the Media School and the Kinetic Immersion Extended Reality (KIX) Lab. She is a Greek-American new media artist who utilizes video, installation, projection mapping, BioArt, AR, photography, and performance in her artworks to explore grief, loss, trauma and memory. This program includes 18 total works featuring an experimental documentary about sex workers in South Africa, a short that combines found nitrate film portraits with microscopy, and a Byzantine Bath House performance in Thessaloniki, Greece.
